Do I need to be based in Malaysia or Singapore to apply?
Not necessarily. While we have physical offices in Malaysia and Singapore, many of our translator, copywriter, and transcriptionist positions are fully remote. Sales and admin roles typically require being based in or near one of our office locations.
What qualifications do I need to become a translator?
We require native or near-native proficiency in at least two languages. A degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if you have proven experience. Professional certifications (e.g., ITBM, CATTI, NAATI) are a plus.
How and when do freelancers get paid?
Freelancers are paid monthly via bank transfer. Translation and interpretation projects are paid upon client acceptance and payment. We offer competitive rates that vary based on language pair, specialization, and experience level.
Can I work as both a translator and interpreter?
Absolutely! Many of our language professionals provide both translation (written) and interpretation (spoken) services. Just indicate both roles in your application.
What is the commission structure for agents and distributors?
Commission rates vary by product/service and sales volume, typically ranging from 10-25%. We provide full training, marketing materials, and ongoing support to help you succeed.
